Cheap, but inaccurate. Review by FreeFlyFreak
Quality Price Value Cheap ammo if you dont mind the inaccuracy.
How in accurate ?
Well most ammo I have tried give me a 3-4" group at 100 yards with a eotech.
This stuff...... basically covers an 11x8" sheet of paper same distance same conditions.
So be warned.
If you can live with that level of accuracy then this stuff is cheap, but for me I will go back to buying stuff that is more expensive but more accurate.

Good value Review by Mike
Quality Price Value I ordered a 1000 rounds a few months back and finally got around to testing this ammo. First off it is okay ammo. I'm testing this through a SCAR 16s with a ACOG and I had no FTE, FTF or anything. I was also shooting Hornady Steel Match 55 grain HP that day also and the Steel Match is very accurate. The MFS is okay but not good. This is decent ammo for the price and I'll order more so I can afford to shoot more. I have tried multiple brands and this is about your mid level for accuracy. It goes bang when I pull the trigger and while it may not be the most accurate it does the job. (Posted on 11/3/11)

Outstanding Review by Colonel Muskrat
Quality Price Value I ran about 400 round of this through my S&W M&P15 with an Adams Arms Piston System and experienced a zero fail rate.
My friend also ran about 400 rounds through his Rock River (also with an Adams Arms Piston System) and had the same experience.
I will definitely purchase MFS from weaponsworld going forward. (Posted on 8/17/11) -
Extremely Happy with this purchase Review by S. Plisken
Quality Price Value I was a bit reluctant to buy a brand of ammo I had never hear of before but I said "what the hell" and went for it based on the positive reviews. It was shipped to my very quickly. A friend and I put about 600 rounds of this ammo through our Smith & Wesson M&P and Rock River AR's Both with an Alexander Arms Short Stroke Gas Piston System. Neither of us experienced any issues whatsoever with feed or accuracy. I have definitely found my new Range Day / Home Defense Ammo. I will be trying the MFS .40 Smith & Wesson ammo also based on the great performance so far. (Posted on 7/6/11)

Reliable and accurate ammo! Review by GunInstructor.com
Quality Price Value I just built four midlength gas system Bravo Company AR Recce rifles, with full length Vltor VIS rail uppers, Bravo Company bolt carrier groups, Troy iron sights, Eotech XPS red dot sights, and mil-spec chrome lined 1/7 twist barrels. These are top quality rifles that I can depend my life on.
I started with 5.56 NATO 62 grain British rounds, and switched to this MFS 55 grain ammo. I zeroed all four rifles at 50 yards first with the NATO and then with the MFS ammo. The MFS 55 grain ammo was just as accurate as the NATO ammo, perhaps even a bit more! The MFS ammo did not appear to be any dirtier than the NATO ammo, and there were no reliability problems in the 500 rounds I have fired to date.
This is great quality ammo for the money! (Posted on 6/26/11) -
Highly recommend for picky AR's Review by Andrew
Quality Price Value My AR is extremely finicky. It cannot shoot 30 rounds of Tula/Wolf before I get stuck cases in the chamber; and this is the new polymer finish, not the lacquer.
So I contacted Weapons world to see if I could buy 100 rounds of this ammo to test through my AR. They were able to provide the limited quantity and I just got back from shooting all 100 rounds in under 10 minutes. Not a single stuck case - not a single FTF. Ammo runs extremely well through my very temperamental AR. Just put an order for an additional 1000 rounds. Thanks Weaponsworld! (Posted on 6/20/11) -

Great buy for Open Ranges Review by Keith
Quality Price Value I recently purchased 1000 rounds to use in competitive carbine shooting. I recently purchased an Enhanced Bushmaster ACR and used the ammo. I had no problems: no feeding issues, misfires, extraction, etc. My friend used this ammo in his FN SCAR with the same results.

Quickly learned I did't buy enough Review by Terry
Quality Price Value I FLEW through 300 rounds the day after my shipment arrived. I fed 2 different ARs, one of which can be a bit finicky with the cheap stuff.
Not a SINGLE failure to feed, fire or eject! IMPRESSIVE!
Although I was just "plinking", I can tell these rounds are plenty accurate for my needs. I plan to feed my varmint set up just to check bench accuracy of the MFS and my bull barrel.
As for weaponsworld.com, you will be my ONLY ammo supplier as long as your prices stay so insanely cheap. THANKS GUYS! You have another 2K round order on the way. (Posted on 1/23/11) -
The MFS ammo exceeded my expectations in reliability and performance. Review by DEPOST
Quality Price Value Testing Period: from 10/07/2010 to 10/08/2010
Test preformed by: Deputy Randy Post
Report prepared by Deputy Randy Post
On 10/07/2010, a test and evaluation began on a new .223 caliber rifle ammunition. This ammo is manufactured by MFS 2000 Inc in Russia. This bi-metal jacketed ammo uses a non corrosive primer and the steel case is coated with zinc rather than a lacquer finish. This zinc coating will prevent chamber wear on the rifle. The current rifle ammunition used in training by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is the Federal 55gr 5.56mm XM193.
Deputy Post tested the MFS ammo during the Patrol Rifle class for FTEP 10-01. The MFS ammo was shot in a side by side comparison against the Federal XM193. Both rounds were fired through two identical and dedicated guns during the testing period. The test weapons were Bushmaster XM-15 AR-15 M4 style rifles. 885 rounds of ammo were fired through each rifle during the test period. Neither rifle was cleaned or lubricated during this test.
Both Bushmaster Rifles shooting the Federal XM193 and the MFS ammo experienced no ammo related malfunctions. Both weapons were broken down and examined after the test was complete. Both weapons had the same level of carbon buildup on the bolt carrier group and in the upper and lower receiver.
This ammo performed at the same level as our current Federal XM193 practice ammunition. The MFS .223 ammunition is substantially cheaper and represents a yearly department savings of $4,476.00 over the Federal XM193 round.
The MFS ammo exceeded my expectations in reliability and performance. I was very pleased with MFS ammo and would recommend it for use for the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
