MFS Ammunition 308 Winchester (7.62x51)145 Grain Full Metal Jacket Zinc Plated Steel Case. 500 round case.

Tested out this stuff last weekend. Shot 380 rounds of this MFS Zinc-plated steel cased .308 through my SCAR 17s last weekend with no malfunctions. Didn't really test the accuracy, but I would say it's around 3 MOA. I'll see if I can test it this weekend. I will definitely buy more of this and maybe some of the MFS 7.62x39. (Posted on 7/21/11)

Bought 500 rds as "cheap, backup ammo" for my new DSA FAL. However, found that my FAL works much better with this than with more costly brass-cased, boxer-primed, NATO ammo.
Will buy more of this when time, $$$, and wife permit!!

So far I have shot 100 rounds through my Weatherby bolt action. This ammo grouped very well, about 1.5" MOA. Not one FTF out of the 100 rounds. The only issue I had was the primer has a red sealing material around it, and it left some residue on the bolt. It cleaned up with no problems at all though. It was surprisingly clean for Russian made ammo. Best Russian ammo IMO. Better than SIlver/Brown Bear and Tula. It compares the closest to Silver Bear, which also has the nickel plated case, but I think this goruped slightly better than Silver Bear, but that was very tough to tell. (Posted on 5/10/11)
